Sometimes it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day. We all have busy lives! School, work, kids, friends, family…but what about ‘ME time’? I like to remind everyone that we always find time for things we consider important. So making time for yourself is essential. Each person has their own idea or relaxation and its not what you do during that time, its about doing what you love. Commit to 15-30 minutes of alone time each day, even if its on the ride home. Instead of zoning out, listening to the radio or worrying about your to do list. Reflect on a special memory you have and smile. Remember that all of your hard work has been to get you where you are today :)
I LOVE STARFISH!
Not only are they beautiful, but because of what they represent. Starfish possess the power to regenerate! When injured they are able to heal themselves and grow a new arm. I feel this can relate to us as people. We will experience injury and may be broken, but we don’t have to stay that way. Let’s work towards reflecting on our pain and then moving on. Its a process and a starfish certainly does not grow their arm overnight! With time and effort we can regenerate and hopefully be stronger than ever :)
We have all had that moment where we don’t know what to do. Each of us has an area we could improve, but how? The purpose of this blog is to get past that stage and move towards action. It can help to have an objective third party work through issues that is outside of the situation looking in. Advice given here is based on expert opinion, empirical research, and experience. Feel free to ask questions and share your own experiences in the Disqus section.
